Turkey allows easier conditions for citizenship
The Regulation regarding Turkish Citizenship has been amended and published at the Official Gazette on 19 September 2018
The new regime brings easier conditions for citizenship (Each of the following group is entitled to Turkish citizenship with the decision of the President of the Republic of Turkey)
- Minimum investment requirement is reduced from USD 2.000.000 to USD 500.000.
- Minimum price of the real estate property to be acquired in Turkey is reduced from USD 1.000.000 to USD 250.000. Such property cannot be sold for 3 years.
- The number of people to be employed is reduced from 100 to 50 people.
- Minimum amount to be deposited in a Turkish bank is reduced from USD 3.000.000 to USD 500.000.
- Participation shares of real estate investment funds or venture capital investment funds worth of minimum USD 500.000 (reduced from USD 3.000.000)
